About the Role

As a Marker, you will review and grade student assessments using detailed marking guides and rubrics. You will ensure accuracy, uphold academic integrity, and provide constructive written feedback where required. Marking may be completed remotely depending on subject requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Mark assessments in line with established criteria and academic standards
• Ensure fairness, consistency, and accuracy in evaluation
• Provide constructive written feedback when required
• Maintain confidentiality and follow integrity policies
• Complete marking within set timelines
• Communicate with teaching staff for clarification when necessary

About You

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow marking rubrics
• Excellent written communication skills
• Reliable, organised, and able to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of the subject area or experience in assessment is desirable
• Previous marking, tutoring, or teaching support experience is an advantage
