About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to lead, support, and develop a high‑performing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, can balance people leadership with operational excellence, and is passionate about driving continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team to consistently achieve performance targets.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
  • Identify skill gaps and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Manage team rosters, workload allocation, and resource planning.

Operational Delivery

  • Ensure daily operations run smoothly and effectively.
  • Monitor key metrics and drive team performance across KPIs.
  • Develop and implement processes to increase productivity and quality.
  • Handle escalations, resolve issues, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain clear, timely communication within the team and with leadership.
  • Represent the team in meetings, project discussions, and planning sessions.
  • Prepare reports, insights, and recommendations for leadership teams.

Continuous Improvement

  • Analyse data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement initiatives that enhance workflows, customer satisfaction, and team outcomes.
  • Encourage innovation, new ideas, and operational best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential

  • Proven experience in a supervisor or manager role.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people‑development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well‑developed problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and navigate complex situations.
  • Proficiency with digital tools (Microsoft 365, CRM systems, reporting tools).

Desirable
