About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with nurses and other health professionals to support patients with daily living tasks, personal care, mobility, and emotional wellbeing. Your role is essential in creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals receive the respect and quality care they deserve.

Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with personal care, hygiene, and grooming
Support mobility, transfers, and safe movement around facilities
Provide companionship and emotional support
Help with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs
Record observations and report changes in patient condition
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Follow care plans and work collaboratively with clinical staff

About You
Genuine compassion and desire to support others
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, sensitive environment
Reliable, patient, and able to follow instructions
Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks

Preferred
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
Previous experience in health care or support roles
Basic first aid and CPR certification
